About
Mexican-born and Milan-based, Vice Luna is a musician and electronic music producer whose sound lives at the intersection of psychedelic rock and electronic music. Blending expressive electric guitar, atmospheric synths and hypnotic rhythms, he creates immersive sonic landscapes that move between organic textures and deep, driving grooves.
His musical journey began with the raw energy and experimentation of 1970s rock — a world of heavy riffs, lysergic melodies and expansive soundscapes, where music was as much an experience as it was a form of expression. Over time, this fascination with sound evolved beyond the boundaries of guitar-driven music, opening the door to electronic production, progressive rhythms and melodic exploration. Yet, the spirit of those early influences remains at the heart of his sound: instinctive, emotional and deeply connected to the human touch of live instrumentation.
Now based in Milan, Vice Luna has become an integral part of the city's creative electronic scene. Together with Italian artist Etna, he co-founded Visionari, a creative platform and label born from a shared vision of bringing together music, art and different cultural perspectives.
Throughout his journey, he has shared the stage with artists such as Monolink, Satori, Jan Blomqvist, Viken Arman and Oceanvs Orientalis, while releasing music on internationally recognised labels including Human By Default, the imprint founded by Bedouin, Bar 25, Do Not Sit On The Furniture Records and Sounds of Khemit. His collaborations include artists such as Nhii, Ramyen, Etna and Pindaro, among others.
Drawing from diverse musical traditions and the cultural roots that shaped him, Vice Luna continues to explore the space between the familiar and the unknown. His music is a journey through contrasts: earthy yet cosmic, nostalgic yet forward-looking, intimate yet expansive.
Whether through a live guitar performance or behind the decks, his intention remains the same: to create moments where sound becomes an experience, carrying listeners from open-air sunsets into the depths of the night.
